Travelife Hotel wins European Hospitality Award

The Inspira Santa Marta Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal has won the ‘Green Hotel of the Year’ award at the European Hospitality Awards 2014 in London and it believes its success is a direct result of being a Travelife member, which has challenged it to improve its sustainability performance.

Inspira Santa Marta Hotel´s core concept is sustainability, not just focusing on its performance but also incentivising others – staff, guests and its local community - to become more responsible. The hotel has also implemented measures to minimize its environmental footprint, reducing its use of resources with actions such as using 100% green energy and putting in place an excellent recycling system.
